Analog Clock

Read the relationship between hours and minutes

Follow the hands around the dial

The hour hand moves between hour positions as the minutes pass, rather than staying fixed on a numeral until the next hour. At 3:30, the minute hand points down to six and the hour hand sits halfway between three and four. The second hand shows progress through the current minute.

An analog dial makes the portion of an hour easy to picture. Use the digital clock when you want an unambiguous 12-hour or 24-hour reading, particularly when AM and PM matter for an appointment.

Set up a larger clock display

Open Full-Screen Clock for a room display and choose the available digital or analog view and mode there. Screen On requests browser wake-lock support where available; system power settings can still interrupt it.

The clock follows your device’s time and time zone. If it differs from another clock, check automatic date and time on your device first. It does not independently synchronise your device to an atomic time source. Use World Clock when you need the current time in a different city.
