Privacy Policy
This policy covers oxclock.com. The Android app has a separate policy at app.oxclock.com/privacy/.
Information on your device
Tool settings, cities, converter inputs, meeting preferences, timers, stopwatch laps, alarms, calendar notes, important dates, counters, countdowns, favorites, themes and scores may be saved in your browser’s local storage. There is no OxClock account or cloud synchronization for this information.
You can remove saved information by clearing this site’s browser data. Export calendar notes before clearing storage or changing devices. Storage restrictions can prevent persistence; OxClock then keeps changes only for the current session.
Analytics and cookies
OxClock uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-D4Y8CLV1D5) to understand visits. Google may process IP addresses, approximate location, browser and device information, page addresses, cookies and usage information under its own policies. OxClock does not deliberately send calendar notes, alarm labels, saved cities or calculation inputs as custom analytics events.
See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser or use Google’s analytics opt-out tools. Advertising is disabled in this website release; AdSense ownership verification does not mean advertisements are currently shown.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Requests necessarily include network information such as IP address, requested page and browser headers. Hosting and security services may process logs and security signals to operate and protect the site.
See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. This static website has no application database receiving your saved tool information.
Location and device permissions
Sunrise/Sunset and Masjid prayer settings request browser location only when you choose Use my location. Calculations run locally. Masjid coordinates, selected time zone and calculation preferences are saved on your device; Sunrise/Sunset uses the coordinates for its local calculation. No coordinate-to-time-zone lookup service is used.
Notifications, sound, vibration, fullscreen and Screen Wake Lock depend on browser support, permission and device policy. Notification preferences do not override your browser’s permission. Screen On requests a wake lock; it cannot guarantee that every browser keeps the screen awake.
Sharing and downloaded files
Share sends the displayed result to your chosen app through the browser’s share sheet, or copies it to your clipboard. A manual copy panel is offered when copying is unavailable. Calendar exports, stopwatch CSV and meeting invitations create local files. Sharing or sending these files gives the recipient the information you choose to include.
Links to Google Play, the Android promotional site and other services open those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Offline storage
A service worker may cache visited Clock, Timer and Stopwatch pages and required assets for limited offline access. Other tool pages require an online navigation. You can remove cached pages through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing browser data removes both cache and saved local tool data.
Contact and policy changes
Email hello@oxclock.com for privacy questions. Email correspondence includes your address and message and is used to respond to your request. Do not send sensitive data.
This policy will be updated when material data practices change. The Android release policy is separate and describes that app’s own permissions and local storage.
